One of the biggest problems we face when trying to discuss grown-up things is that a lot of people are more interested in their feelings than listening to yours. It's a main reason this country and discourse are in the shape they are. That, and Twitter. Listening to other people's perspective and experiences is important. It's why with everything going on lately, I recommended people watch the new Dave Chappelle special and listen to a recent podcast from WWE wrestlers The New Day. Both made me think.
Now, it's time for your leftists friends yelling #DefundThePolice and/or trying to convince you that when they say #DefundThePolice they don't mean #DefundThePolice to shut their pieholes and listen. Consider a different perspective themselves. Because here Jocko Willink not only lays out why defunding the police is retarded, he also lays out a number of different police reforms that are long overdue. It's a thirty-minute video, because an issue this important needs more time than a TikTok. Go make some coffee before pressing play.
