President Biden Appears to Forget Name of Defense Secretary. Also, Name of Department of Defense.

President Joe Biden looks like he's getting worse. Or, he does in my opinion. I can't confirm whether he's getting worse in the eyes of Facebook's "independent" "fact" checkers. But putting him out there increasingly looks like senior abuse. It was one thing to laugh at him during the campaign. Biden would regularly spout gibberish to where people had no idea what he was even trying to say. That was candidate Biden. It's not as funny seeing President Biden do it. The commander in chief should be able to name his secretary of defense. Also, the Department of Defense.

Biden didn't appear to (temporarily) remember either on Monday while promoting two female generals.

And I want to thank the sec ... the former general. I keep calling him general, but my ... the guy who runs that outfit over there.

According to the New York Post, Joe Biden remembered both the Department of Defense and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin's name earlier when he appeared to read them off of a teleprompter. Emphasis on teleprompter is mine. When Biden goes off-script is when he runs into problems. It could also be why the White House has kept him away from the press for as long as it has.

We all have our brain farts and occasionally stumble over words. The older we get, the more often it happens. However, we're NOT all the president of the United States. Americans shouldn't have to worry that the commander in chief might get confused one day, mix up Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and ask him to open a can of whup-ass on a country no one has heard of.
