America is approaching the one-year anniversary of fifteen days to flatten the curve. So, it's kinda been 15+365 days so flatten the curve. Businesses throughout the country have been at varying stages of shut down or open at limited capacity. Only to be shut down again unless they are open outdoors. Which can still be shut down. It's all very confusing. California has had some of the most strict restrictions than any other state. Businesses are struggling. Thankfully, Californians like Packer's QB Aaron Rodgers are helping out.
He did an Instagram Live chat with a watch company where he explained how he's been helping. He also took a noticeable shot at Gavin Newsom.
Been doing some work actually in my hometown in Northern California as well to try and help some people through a small business fund that we started. I just want to make sure where I'm from and the area I've called home in the past are doing OK. It's been nice to be able to help some people out and I think we're all just waiting for a little bit of hope on the horizon.
California has really been hit hard by COVID and by the rules that the governor has put in place...

I'm glad Rodgers, a California resident, is helping. But I can't help but wonder about all the other multi-millionaire celebrities who call California their home. I *suppose* they could be helping without looking for attention or publicity. I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible. Celebrities have no problems promoting when they donate to whatever the social liberal cause du jour is. They have no problem attacking Republicans who vote against scam "stimulus" bills, claiming Republicans are the ones who don't want to help the suffering. All of these celebrities have favorite restaurants. They have local salons. They have small businesses in their neighborhoods.
I'm curious. When they claim "we're all in this together," how many put their sizable income where their hashtags are?
