Texas Bar Owner is Fed Up with COVID Shutdown, Fights with 'Bar Lives Matter' Protest

Texas Bar Owner is Fed Up with COVID Shutdown, Fights with 'Bar Lives Matter' Protest
Courtney Kirchoff - June 30, 2020 at 08:09PM

Somehow COVID-19 made it back into the news cycle as relevant, despite all the riots, protesting, and general malfeasance perpetrated by people marching through the streets burning things. I've never been more convinced the WuHuFlu is a political tool meant to slowly turn up the socialism heat. But not everyone is falling in lockstep with the Mask Up Or Else crowd, nor the possibly well-intentioned followers who are caving to their bad ideas. Last week, the used to be hero of Texas, Governor Greg Abbott, announced he was a big wuss by rolling back freedom due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. It might help if we replaced all instances of "COVID-19" with "flu" just to illustrate how dumb this all is. One of his edicts was telling bars to shutter their doors. So protesting and rioting is okay, but having a drink with your posse isn't? If you're also seeing the problem, so did Tee Allen Parker. She closed down her new bar when the first flu wave hit, but she's done playing:

But when coronavirus infections began soaring again throughout the state and Gov. Greg Abbott (R) ordered drinking establishments statewide to shut down again Friday, the 45-year-old owner of the Machine Shed Bar & Grill decided to put up a fight.
"You can't tell me that my tiny little bar is the problem. He's the problem," she said of Abbott in an interview with The Washington Post. "He's targeting us, and it's discrimination."

Tee Allen Parker is my new spirit animal. She's now suing Governor Greg Abbot and the state's alcohol regulators to nix the order. The suit argues King Abbott's shutdown decree "unconstitutionally bypasses the state legislature." Directly smacking bar owners, their employees and therefore families with a financial burden.

Remember, barbershops, salons and plenty of other businesses where there's touching and general business having, weren't told to shut their doors. Bars were. So it does seem like there might be some unfair targeting here.

In Kilgore, she organized a "Bar Lives Matter" concert outside her bar on Sunday to raise money for other Texas taprooms that need to pay the bills. Earlier on Monday, she drove to Austin, where she plans to stage a rally outside the Texas Capitol with other bar owners Tuesday, and invited the governor to speak with her one-on-one.

Seems fair. The flu doesn't spread if you're protesting. Right?

There have been a number of Facebook comments wondering "But what do we do to fight back?" Tee Allen Parker is fighting back. She's taking a stand. She's challenging the governor, she's challenging the narrative, she's spinning the narrative back on those who spun it first. If you're in the Kilgore area and you're wondering what you can do to push back, consider supporting Tee Allen Parker.

The more governors like Abbott realize they're on the wrong side, the more they might fear they'll get tossed from their towers and reverse course. Political powers won't change if they think there are more violent mobsters than rational Americans. So support your local business leaders when they put themselves out front and take the arrows.

Comedian Calls Out Liberal Victims of Cancel Culture: 'This Is What You Idiots Wanted!'
Brodigan - June 30, 2020 at 04:51PM

It's clear that cancel culture is starting to come back to bite the leftists who started cancel culture in their smug little heinies. You can tell by the way the woke mafia is trying to gaslight those who use outrage culture against them (see ALYSSA MILANO IS UPSET CONSERVATIVES ARE 'WEAPONIZING' CANCEL CULTURE BECAUSE ONLY SHE IS ALLOWED TO DO THAT and BARSTOOL PRESIDENT TELLS LEFTISTS WHERE TO STICK THEIR CANCEL CULTURE. IT'S THE ONLY APPROPRIATE RESPONSE.). But according to satirist Jonathan Pie, what did these idiots expect? This is the world they created.

I'm not sure what set off this rant. Something about the Labour Party and anti-Semitism. Honestly? Instead of doing research, I was more concerned with trying to work "perma-offended woke twats" into the headline, but determined it would run afoul of Facebook's new algorithm changes.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is testifying before the senate on Tuesday about COVID this and 'rona that. If the past few months are any indication, I'm sure everything will be totes clear at the conclusion and that the experts will put forth a clear path forward (see FAUCI NOW SAYS SECOND COVID WAVE "NOT INEVITABLE." IN APRIL HE SAID IT WAS... and WHO NOW SAYS ASYMPTOMATIC COVID-19 MIGHT NOT SPREAD THE VIRUS AS MUCH AS THEY THOUGHT). Rand Paul had his turn to ask questions, and while there still aren't any answers, this is still fun to watch. Though before you do, here is how the media is spinning what Paul said.

Now here's what the senator actually said.

Over the weekend, there was a protest outside of the Museum of Natural History to protect the Teddy Roosevelt statue from being removed. Before you ask, it was a protest, so everyone was safe from catching the coronavirus. I'm also not sure why people want to remove the statue, but we're at a point where you can assume that the people who want to remove statues aren't sure why either, other than that they're idiots (see BLACK LIVES MATTER THREATENS TO SHUT DOWN TARGET IF THE STORE IS NICE TO COPS and LIBERAL PROTESTER TRIES DESTROYING STATUE, LEARNS THE HARD WAY HOW GRAVITY WORKS).

People were there protesting in defense of the statue, so of course there were counterprotesters there yelling random words about things. One was a Poindexter college student who learned a lesson the hard way about respecting your elders. Literally, if Bea Arthur were alive and all hopped up on MAGA, she would be my new SHEro here.

Liberal Weenie: You're a racist.

Old Lady: Who said that? Try saying that to my face, you little piece of shit. I'll rip your arms off and beat you to death with them.

Liberal Weeine: I'm telling my mommy!

There's only one word to describe four-eyes here. Well, three words. Two of them are "little" and "bitch." Here's the third.

My only regret is that Poindexter here didn't cry. All we needed was for him to be crying and run off, with his arms flailing behind him. That would have made this video a 10/10 as far as content goes. Though even without the tears, it's still a respectable 9.2.

But chin up, Poindexter. You're still going to make some lucky lady a great "I only like you as a friend" some day.

Dan Crenshaw Throws Down the Gauntlet: "Time for Americans to STAND UP to the Outrage Mob"
Brodigan - June 30, 2020 at 12:28PM

Spend any time exposed to media, and it's hard not to feel like the leftist outrage mob is indiscriminately going berserk, to the point where some Americans feel the need to take matters into their own hands (see THIS MAN IS COMPLETELY FED UP WITH CHOP, SO HE'S FLIPPING TABLES AND TEARING IT DOWN! and MAN WHO POINTED GUN AT BLM PROTESTORS SPEAKS OUT: I WAS IN FEAR FOR MY LIFE!). Especially since many of our leaders have shown an utter lack on interest in doing so on our behalf. Some leaders are at least starting to speak out more, like our friend Rep. Dan Crenshaw. He's got his eye on the situation and is encouraging Americans to hold the line.

Its breathless moralizing and anger do not portend reason or good faith, but instead mask deep ignorance and malicious intent.

You see, this isn't about taking down offensive messages or symbols. These mobs didn't suddenly stumble upon some forgotten and offensive historical anecdote, or reach their wits' end after seeing Aunt Jemima on the grocery-store shelf just one too many times. No, this was a deliberate hijacking of a tragedy. The touchy sympathies of "political correctness" were always just a base from which to launch a cultural revolution, a purge of traditional American narratives and icons.

It's about time we all woke up to it.

I'm woke, homie. The question is how many of Crenshaw's colleagues in the House and Senate are. I'm even just talking about on the Republican side, since the Democrats have made it clear they're all about pandering to the criminals and the chaos.

It's easy to tell people to wake up. It's easy to tell people to hold the line. The problem is the people feel like no one has their back if they do.

Alyssa Milano Is Upset Conservatives Are 'Weaponizing' Cancel Culture because Only She Is Allowed to Do That
Brodigan - June 30, 2020 at 08:19AM

If you are in the entertainment industry, my default position is to assume we vote for different people, which is totes okay. It's how America works. It's only a problem depending on a) how big a jerk you are about it, and b) if you sound like you hate the half of the country that disagrees with you. With that in mind, few celebrities have disappointed me more than Alyssa Milano. Because if you're like me and grew up in the 1980s, she was your first celebrity crush. The day girls stopped being smelly was when Tony Danza opened the door and instead of Sam the tomboy, it was Samantha the smoke show.

But that was then. Now, we get silly brain farts like this.

Apparently this is in reference to a controversy over her darkening her skin for a "Jersey Shore" parody, and people on the right are claiming it's a gotcha moment. I honestly don't have the bandwidth to research further and if what I wrote is an accurate summary, I'd prefer it if people on the right stopped being dumb. HOWEVER, the gaslighting from the left is where I have an issue, because you can expect to see more of this. Leftists invented cancel culture. Americans are starting to push back against it. And I say Americans instead of "conservatives," because even apolitical, middle-of-the-road people have had enough of the crap (see BARSTOOL PRESIDENT TELLS LEFTISTS WHERE TO STICK THEIR CANCEL CULTURE. IT'S THE ONLY APPROPRIATE RESPONSE. and KEVIN HART ON CANCEL CULTURE: 'STUPIDEST S*** I'VE WITNESSED IN MY 40 YEARS OF LIFE'). But because some people are fighting fire with fire, suddenly the left's cancel culture isn't the problem. The right "weaponizing" it is the problem. Plus, "Putin." Just because ... reasons.

It's like in the media. When a Republican does something bad, the story is about the Republican doing something bad. When a Democrat does something bad, the story is about Republicans reacting to the Democrat. Only in this case, the left uses cancel culture against anyone and everyone who doesn't agree with them 100% or who ever uses words that aren't on their approved list of words. Now people are getting fed up, so they are playing by the rules of engagement that leftists like Alyssa Milano put in place.

It's not "weaponizing." It's clapping back.

Idiot Seattle Mayor Who Supported CHOP Is Outraged CHOP Showed Up at Her House

Idiot Seattle Mayor Who Supported CHOP Is Outraged CHOP Showed Up at Her House
Brodigan - June 30, 2020 at 08:17AM

Seattle Mayor Jenny Derpkan was all about letting protesters terrorize and protest outside the homes and businesses of the commoners and ham and eggers. Derpkan was all about supporting CHOP and CHAZ, even referring to it as the "Summer of Love." But once people started getting shot and killed, Mayor Derpkan decided it was probably in her best interest to enforce the law after all. You know, lawsuits and all that (see BUSINESSES, RESIDENTS TERRORIZED BY CHAZ/CHOP ARE SUING SEATTLE! and THIS MAN IS COMPLETELY FED UP WITH CHOP, SO HE'S FLIPPING TABLES AND TEARING IT DOWN!). The denizens of CHOP decided it was time to move their protest outside the mayor's house, led by socialist Councilwoman Kshama Sawant.

Mayor Derpkan was not amused. I, on the other hand, am very amused. Almost as amused as I am by my excessive use of the word "derp."

Mayor Durkan and her family are in the state program to keep their address confidential because of the death threats mostly related to her work as Seattle's U.S. Attorney under President Obama. Instead of working to make true change, Councilmember Sawant continues to choose political stunts. Tonight she did so without regard for the safety of the Mayor and her family. The Mayor was not even home - she was working at City Hall. Seattle can and should peacefully demonstrate but should not put families and children at risk.

Correction: Seattle should not put HER family and HER children at risk. Nuts to anyone else if Mayor Derpkan thinks she can score a political point or two. This is why, while I'm generally opposed to protesters showing up at private residences, when it's the residence of an elected official who is okay with them showing up outside of your residence or your place of business, I feel the need to look the other way while it's happening. The same way Mayor Derpkan looked the other way while these same protesters took over a part of her city.

Black Lives Matter Threatens to SHUT DOWN Target if the Store Is Nice to Cops

Black Lives Matter Threatens to SHUT DOWN Target if the Store Is Nice to Cops
Brodigan - June 29, 2020 at 04:51PM

If this was supposed to be an organized protest by the Marxist political organization, apparently they sent in the junior varsity. Because I chalk this video up with some of our favorite BLM fails (see WHITE LEFTIST GETS BTFO'D LECTURING BLACK COP ON RACISM and IDIOT WHITE LIBERAL CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY BLACK COP THINKS BLUE LIVES MATTER). We go now to a Target in Washington, D.C., where people are protesting for ... honestly, I don't know. Something about the cops.

First to my man with the megaphone wearing a mesh shirt and rocking a body that should not be wearing a mesh shirt, do a sit-up once in a while. Or maybe when you're done protesting, go shopping. Target's T-shirts go up to at least XXL, and they're made of less revealing material. You may also want to stop by grocery to pick up a granola bar. Also, swing by sporting goods for some fitness bands. Target is a great store. They have everything.

Also, for a "black" lives matter protest, there was a noticeable degree of pasty-ass whiteness yelling words about things. Somewhere in BLM HQ, management is staring at this video on Twitter yelling, "You people aren't helping matters." Yes, BLM can say "you people" because they're talking about the white people there. Plus the chunky Asian-looking brother leading things. Not that there's anything wrong with white people being there. We should all be good allies to each other. I just do it by treating people with respect. Not harassing shoppers who just happened to run out of toilet paper that day.

Someone needs to go back to activist school, because these cats obviously aren't ready to play varsity yet.

Whatever the full story of this is, if you trespass on private property, and your movement has a history of getting violent with people, their cars, their businesses, or their homes, expect to meet the pointy end of a firearm. I say this as someone with a home who is also in possession of firearms. A couple in St. Louis confronted Black Lives Matter protesters who stormed through their neighborhood (trespassing) in search of the mayor. The couple's video went viral for all the obvious reasons. While a number of things that've come out of COVID and RIOTING do nothing but peeve me, there have been a few entries into the pro-column. If anyone cares to know what those entries are, do tweet me @Courtneyscoffs and let me know. Perhaps I'll expound upon it another time. For now, one such thing which tickles my funny bone is the genre of Rioter vs. Car. I make no apologies for being delighted by this video series, even though the outcome is as predictable as a Mission Impossible movie. Spoiler alert: Tom Cruise wins. Recently, rioters attacked a police SUV in the festering caca pile known as Detroit. At which point the police SUV was done taking it. It did the lickety-split out of there but not before catapulting a few Protesters of Peace into the wild blue yonder.

You're welcome, America.

According to the eggs on Twitter, the Peaceful Protesters of Peace had peacefully glitterized the back window. As one does. That's why the driver said nuts to this and made my entire day by turning several peaceful protesters into falling dominos.

Let this video, and many others before it (I'll link them below, because Christmas shouldn't come but once a year), that motor vehicles aren't to be trifled with. Actually, let me rephrase. If you're threatening someone inside a motor vehicle, understand you might be transformed into a meaty pancake. To applause.

Pro-tip to people who find themselves faced with a wall of Peacefully Protesting Peaceniks throwing rocks, swinging bats, or misusing the world "literally": the gas pedal is on the right. Punch it, my babies.

Really hard to imagine why gun sales are spiking like the faulty COVID model which politicians used to ruin our lives. Rioters, who the press is calling "protesters" are going insane, jumping on people's cars, attacking innocent bystanders, and police are being told to stand down. This very thing happened to a woman in Fredricksburg, Virginia. She dialed 911 after a peaceful protester peacefully protested from the hood of her car. The woman also had her daughter with her. Listen to the call taker's response and tell me we're not in some kind of war.

Everyone reading this knows that Jon Stewart clearly plays for the left, although he's one of the few who remain intellectually honest (see 'CALLING ALL TRUMP SUPPORTERS RACIST IS HYPOCRITICAL'... SAYS JON STEWART?! and JON STEWART DOUBLES DOWN: 'SHUT UP CALLING TRUMP SUPPORTERS RACIST!'). He's also someone I've always been a huge fan of and is one of my top comedy influences. So I was skeptical when I heard he wrote and directed a political satire called Irresistible. It stars Steve Carell (fresh off of getting conned by the Minnesota Freedom Fund like the rest of Hollywood), Rose Byrne, and Chris Cooper. Here's the trailer.

Some Mondays, you just want to start your day watching some idiot fall off a statue. Especially when that idiot is a leftist douchebag (see INJECT TUCKER CARLSON'S RANT ON STATUES AND THE DO-NOTHING GOP DIRECTLY INTO YOUR VEINS and VENEZUELAN WOMAN EXPLAINS WHY LEFTISTS TEARING DOWN STATUES SHOULD SCARE EVERYONE). Maybe my dude got confused in his gender studies class and thought that gravity is just a social construct as well. Maybe much like catching COVID, he felt the laws of physics don't apply if you have the right political opinion. Whatever the reason, LOOK OUT BELOW!

This may be a dated oldhead reference, but it's my blog post so I'm going to go for it anyway:

Pop quiz: Without using the Google, do any of you know anything about who St. Louis IX was? I don't, other than he's apparently someone whom someone else at some point decided to make a statue out of. Maybe this guy climbing up the statue is the foremost expert on all things St. Louis IX and he was a real scumbag. That's still no excuse for vandalism and destruction of property, but at least it would imply that Spider-Man here read a book at some point.

Most likely, what happened here is the leftist equation of historical figure + statue = most likely racist. Next time bring a rope or a harness or something.

The People 'Pointing Guns' at Black Lives Matter Protesters? Here's What the Media ISN'T Telling You ...
Courtney Kirchoff - June 29, 2020 at 10:55AM

You no doubt woke up to news of an angry white couple pointing guns at "peaceful" protesters. "Peaceful" is the key word here, while we pretend away how quickly these protests have turned into the exact opposite (see RIOTERS BURNED DOWN A MINNEAPOLIS POLICE STATION, POLICE FLEE and GUYS SHOW SUPPORT TO RIOTERS WITH THUMBS UP. RIOTERS BREAK THEIR WINDOWS!). Here's how this story is being reported in the news.

Granted, the couple could obviously stand to take a gun safety course at the very least. That's some common ground we can all agree on. But here's what the media is leaving out, or at the very least glossing over. It wasn't just a private road (most outlets are even leaving that part out). It was private property. That makes it less a peaceful protesting thing and more a TRESPESSING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY thing.

So yes, when homeowners saw what could potentially have been an angry mob, they went to defend themselves. That's how the Second Amendment works. That's also how it's going to work if leftists have their way with defunding (though actually dismantling) the police. People need to be protected one way or the other. Take away the institution whose job it is to do so, and people are going to take matters in their own hands.

Oklahoma Charges Protesters with Terrorism, Assault: 'This Isn't Seattle, We Don't Tolerate Lawlessness'

Oklahoma Charges Protesters with Terrorism, Assault: 'This Isn't Seattle, We Don't Tolerate Lawlessness'
Brodigan - June 29, 2020 at 10:39AM

To quote one of the greatest philosophers of our time, Wooderson: "Alright, alright, alright!" It's about time we saw someone enforcing the law. Even attempting to enforce the law would be an improvement. As opposed to ... I don't know, pick a liberal city that's been on fire in the past month (see SEATTLE RESIDENT SPEAKS OUT AGAINST CHAZ AND IT'S CHILLING and LOCAL IDIOT TELLS CNN NOT WANTING YOUR HOME BROKEN INTO 'COMES FROM A PLACE OF PRIVILEGE.'). In Oklahoma, they're not having any of it. The criminals roaming the streets destroying public property and committing acts of terrorism, rioting, and assault are being treated like criminals committing acts of terrorism, rioting, and assault.

Protesters blamed for the violence that broke out in Oklahoma City the last weekend in May were charged Friday with terrorism, rioting and assault. If convicted of the felony offenses, they could be sentenced to years in prison. Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater made the decisions himself on the charges in a get-tough approach meant to deter others from going too far during protests in the future.

"This is not Seattle," Prater said Friday. "We're not putting up with this lawlessness here."

Also charged Friday were five defendants identified as involved in the painting of murals in downtown Oklahoma City this week. They are accused in an incitement to riot charge of interfering with a police sergeant who was trying to take a homicide witness for an interview at police headquarters Tuesday.

I know that the left is going to be complaining about this. Attacking a state for enforcing the law and probably accusing the district attorney of various -isms and being an -ist of some form. Here's the rub. The left claims that it's all just peaceful protest. Yet in every city, there seems to be those "few bad apples" who are distracting from that message, like the bad apples that Oklahoma is throwing the book at. I would just ask the left to show us what they are doing to stand up to the rioters and violent assaulters who are distracting from their message.

Because your silence in this case is actual violence. Violence that Oklahoma isn't putting up with.

Tarah Price - June 26, 2020 at 08:27PM

In typical progressive fashion, the CHAZ/CHOP hostage situation will go down in the history books as "the summer of love." The country will move on and somehow be caught off guard when the next attack on our western way of life materializes. Hold up! The legacy of CHAZ, CHOP, Segregated Commie Gardens, or whatever you want to call it should be remembered as a brief period of needless loss of life, violence, and property damage that occurred across six city blocks in downtown Seattle. The legacy of this grotesque group of anarchists parading around as defenders of Black Lives Matter were criminals who held a portion of a major U.S. city hostage, ultimately losing the support of a braindead mayor who couldn't foresee the murderous path ahead until it was too late. Here is Steven Crowder's take on the legacy of CHAZ.
