At this point, it would be surprising if Joe Biden didn't have a senior moment during a public event. Should that ever happen, one could assume the real Biden had a stroke and has been replaced by Kevin Kline doing a Joe Biden impersonation. But no, this is still the real Joe Biden. Unfortunately. At least it was only at a meaningless event for "equal pay day." When it happens during addresses to the American people or in front of world leaders, it's more embarrassing.
Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that the First Lady's husband had contracted COVID. Yes, that would mean him. No, he didn't realize what he said.
FACT CHECK: He meant Kamala's husband, Doug Emhoff. He's the one who popped positive for the 'rona.
Joe Biden has confused Kamala Harris for the president before. He does that on the regular. This was the first time he confused Kamala Harris for his wife. At least publically. There may have been more than one occasion where Jill has had to tell her husband, "You were talking about her in your sleep, again. Also, I'm not changing you anymore. You have to learn when you feel it coming out to go to the bathroom."
I wonder who has the worst job in the White House: the secret service agent whose job it is to stand in front of the bullet, or the aide whose job it is to tell Joe Biden he f*cked up again? The aide might dream of the day he gets promoted to the secret service.
