There’s nothing wrong with agreeing with Bill Maher when he says something correct, but we cannot forget that he is of the left. Perhaps he’s not a radical crazy in the vein of AOC and such, but he’s still swimming in a sea of idiots who fail to understand Republicans and, more particularly, Conservatives.
Maher made as much perfectly clear on Friday during a broadcast of his HBO show “Real Time.” In speaking with one of his guests, Breitbart reports, Maher said, “I think today’s Republicans would not do that. I think they would be thrilled to have no black seats on the court…a lot of them.”
Are you sure about that, bud? Last I checked, since the passing of Justice Scalia, I’m pretty sure the only justice Republicans and Conservatives can afford to really put our faith in is Justice Clarence Thomas, who is the only black person currently serving on the Supreme Court! But, of course, Maher and his ilk don’t see Thomas as being black because he doesn’t think as they believe a black person should. Thomas doesn’t “represent the majority of black thinking in America,” Maher said.
Maher may not be entirely stupid, but he certainly isn’t the brilliant liberal thinker he purports to be. He’s still just as apt as AOC to drool out the same leftist platitudes and lies when it suits him. It’s also rather degrading and presumptuous of him to assume he knows what all black people think. How could he possibly know? He’s white.
Maher’s moronic critique comes after Republicans grilled Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson last week, asking her various questions about her sentencing history, her thoughts about Critical Race Theory, and of course, attempting to get her definition of “woman,” which didn’t go well.
You see, when Republicans ask actual questions, they’re racists, says Maher. When Democrats smear Thomas as a deviant, Kavanaugh as a drunken serial rapist, and Barrett as a racist Catholic handmaid, they’re just doing their due diligence.
Bill Maher may be willing to call out his side’s excesses from time to time, but he’s still an ignorant Democrat, with all the inane faults.
