With respect to Chris Weidman, Ron DeSantis should make "Won't Back Down" his walk-out music to press conferences. The estate of Tom Petty might take issue, but meh. It's an appropriate assessment of America's Governor in the face of continued outrage over the Parental Rights in Education Bill. Critics still call it the 'Don't Say Gay' bill, even though the bill doesn't say gay. Disney employees are particularly cranky about it. They feel their CEO did them dirty not complaining enough. So they've taken to the streets.
DeSantis supports their right to protest a bill that says *checks notes* "classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards." He's just confused why.
