If you want to know why lying about legislation is progressives' go-to trick, look no further than professional thespian Ron Perlman. Perlman is inclined to believe whatever you tell him about people he already doesn't like. He also urinates on his own hand, and once challenged Ted Cruz to a fistfight (though, backed down when Cruz stepped up).
Ron Perlman, even with all the lies being exposed and evidence pointing to the contrary, honestly thinks America's Governor Ron DeSantis signed legislation that outlaws saying the word "gay" in the state of Florida. And he's super-duper agitated about it.
"Don't say gay? 'Don't say' as the first two words in a sentence spoken by a political leader of a state in the United States of America? Don't say? Don't f*cking say, you Nazi pig? Say, First Amendment. Read about it, then run for office you piece of sh*t!"
Literally, nothing Perlman says is true or has anything to do with any legislation that Ron DeSantis has signed ever, let alone signed on Monday.
To recap (I know y'all know this stuff), it's the "Parental Rights in Education" bill, not the "Don't Say Gay" bill. Activists made that up because they know the media lacks the self-respect to call them out on it. The bill doesn't say the word "gay" let alone say that you can't say the word "gay." What the bill does is limit what grades teachers' union members can push sex and gender "education" on. The cut-off is third grade or younger. It's designed to take power away from school boards and teachers' union thugs, and give it back to parents. The bill DOES NOT say you can't say "gay" or make it illegal to do so.
What I can't figure out is, at this point, if these people know they are lying and are just repeating the talking points their PR team was sent by Democrats. OR if they sincerely believe that Ron DeSantis outlawed the word "gay."
