Well, well, well. The shutdown hero, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who first said masks are dumb, then said we shouldall wear masks because it makes people feel better (I'm paraphrasing), and who has now become the poster boy for Masked Hordes, was photographed, sitting close to two other people (who were wearing masks) with his mask around his chinny-chin-chin. So.
Wonder if anyone in the media will have an issue with the example this sets... Or if they’ll point out the hypocri… https://t.co/3JV37MjFwM— Ian Miller (@Ian Miller)1595565730.0
Isn't the going mantra as of the time of "Oh, but now we wear masks" that masks are somehow protecting the OTHER person? Since your flying covid-spittle and its resulting droplets are being trapped in your own la boca-sphere? Going by those virtue signaling rules set by the same virtue signalers who insist to not mask up is to kill people, how is this photo not evidence Dr. Fauci is a reckless killer?
Listen, I'm just playing by the rules set by the opposing team. I think masks are stupid. I think the shutdown is worse than stupid, it's been a catastrophe. So if you see me with a mask around my chin so I can go into the grocery store, if anything, I'm a hypocrite for not taking a literal beating by opting to wear a mask.
Fauci, since he's a leader in the space and got us into this mess (and Trump, by extension for listening and instituting his advice), should do as he says to do, right?
If Fauci is starting to lose Yashar, that ain't good for Fauci.
If Fauci is sitting in a sports stadium, shoulder to shoulder with people, and he's not wearing a mask to protect them, then that tells me two things I already knew (in my opinion, you "independent" fact checking Nazis at Facebook):
- Masks are tools of virtue signaling
- The virus isn't nearly as scary or damaging as the "experts" allege. For if the coronavirus was as nasty lethal as the tone and tenor set by media and the "experts" say, you can bet your chapped ass Fauci would maintain social distance and wear a mask. And yet...
Will this change anything for the panic porn addicts? Not a damn thing. They'll make excuses for Fauci and go about their days as the dutiful lemmings they are. But a few people will hopefully start to ask a few questions, and I'll take the small victories I can get.
