OK, Patriots fans. Level with me. What’s the worst thing to happen to you this year: a global pandemic that has crippled the economy, or Tom Brady leaving to go play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? He’s living in Derek Jeter’s mansion, too. That has to sting. Now that we got the somewhat superfluous snark out of the way, let’s celebrate team owner Robert Kraft, who sent the team plane to China and brought over a million N95 masks to help aid the coronavirus relief efforts, 300,000 of which he’s sending to New York City.
Seeing what’s going on and how things are so difficult, this is a gift of ours — these 300,000 masks — and the transportation to the people of New York. And thanking the governor for his great leadership. And also, we want to give hope and good cheer at this time that we’re all banding together and trying to do what’s right.
This should be something to celebrate. I doubt she’s the only leftist who has said something similar. They are nothing if not predictable. Especially if you’ve watched any of the Trump coverage over the past few weeks. Just take a look at the reaction to the My Pillow guy.
But let me say this. If New York Jets fans can accept the help of Robert Kraft, maaaaaaaaaybe you can give the Trump Derangement Syndrome a rest.
