Governments were lucky the American people agreed to go along with things for the past month. Now it appears the worst of the coronavirus is behind us (see Something’s Up with These COVID-19 Death Rates and New York City Adds Thousands to COVID Death Count. But Never Tested Positive…). Time to get the economy going again. See our loved ones. And wonder how assclowns like NJ Governor Phil Murphy have their jobs. Because his willingness to say the quiet part out loud here is an alarming reminder of how much we really have to lose. Actually lose. Not “this model implies what we could” lose.

TUCKER: As I noted before, 15 congregants at a synagogue in New Jersey were arrested and charged for being in a synagogue together. Now, the Bill of Rights, as you well know, protects Americans’ right, enshrines their right, to practice their religion as they see fit and to congregate together, to assemble peacefully. By what authority did you nullify the Bill of Rights in issuing this order? How do you have the power to do that?” Carlson asked.

GOV. DOUCHE: That’s above my pay grade, Tucker. I wasn’t thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this.”

If you think following the Bill of Rights is above your pay grade, you have no business being an elected official. Furthermore, this guy should never be re-elected or even allowed to run for public office again. Make sure it never happens again, New Jersey.

Period. That’s it. That’s the conclusion.
