New York Antibody Report Suggests Millions of People ALREADY HAD COVID-19

It’s looking more and more like that curve is well behind us. Antibody tests are emerging and the results so far suggest thousands if not millions of people have already been infected and have developed antibodies for COVID-19. Studies have already emerged from both Stanford and USC, downgrading the lethality of COVID-19 to not even a full one percent. But that was the West Coast. What about in New York which is experiencing the worst of it? Well, according to this new report, the statewide death rate could actually be 0.5 percent. As in zero point five percent.

From Spectrum News 1:

Cuomo suggested that an infection rate of 13.9 percent statewide indicates that the death rate could be much lower than what is currently indicated. The state is currently reporting 263,460 confirmed positive coronavirus tests and 15,740 coronavirus deaths statewide, which would indicate a death rate of approximately 6 percent. But if the sample in the antibody testing is indicative of the total percentage of New Yorkers who have antibodies, that means as many as 2.7 million New Yorkers may have had the virus. That would indicate a statewide death rate of about 0.5 percent.

That’s good news, y’all. It’s good news the disease isn’t as fatal as we once thought, especially in a part of the country that seems to have it the worst.

Of course when it comes to reopening the country, both the article this came from and pandemic pornographers urge caution about optimism. That’s because, in my opinion, keeping the global economy shut down which has resulted in 26 million unemployed Americans, and food plants possibly going out of commission, is a perfect foundation for the rise of socialism. Already big government fiends have discovered that if  you implement big government controls one step at a time, and insist it’s for their own safety, Americans will go for it.

Here’s what needs to happen next: the country needs to reopen. Immediately. The shutdown was a mistake. That’s putting it mildly. In my opinion, the shutdown is an unmitigated disaster. If you tell me reopening the country means I hate old people, then I say if you insist it should remain closed, you want Americans to starve. I didn’t make the rules, I’m just playing by them.
