Remember All the Times the Media Downplayed the Coronavirus? We Do … [VIDEO]

Remember All the Times the Media Downplayed the Coronavirus? We Do … [VIDEO]

It may be too early to tell, but at least for the past week, it’s beginning to look like the more dire coronavirus predictions aren’t coming true. That’s a good thing. But cable news still has time to fill (see Mike Rowe Flattens Media Matters’ Attack Over the Coronavirus and AOC: Donald Trump Is to Blame for NYC’s COVID-19 Deaths [VIDEO]). That usually means making things about Trump: Either looking for an angle to attack him on chloroquine that will stick or pointing out all the times he downplayed the coronavirus.

Which is funny, because while the president was downplaying the coronavirus, the media was — wait for it — downplaying the coronavirus. As the Washington Free Beacon helpfully points out.

Turns out it was worse. Maybe not eleventy million dying of it worse, but still pretty bad. Most people downplayed it at the beginning. The question now is how to handle it now. Donald Trump is showing his gratitude to the American people for the sacrifices we’ve made and go on making to save the lives of others. The media is looking for new and exciting ways to attack Donald Trump. Like claiming he was the one who purposely inflated the predicted death toll.

EXIT QUESTION: How soon after this pandemic is over does the media go back to tying Trump to Russia? I’m setting the over/under as June 15.
