In the wake of the Capitol riot, Tucker Carlson made what I felt were very poignant comments . As the media shows us images of eight-foot walls covered in barbed wire around our U.S. Capitol -- the day before we inaugurate a new president -- the idea of things "getting back to normal" feels foreign to many. Carlson feels we're going down a dangerous path that not enough of our leaders are thinking through.

People are saying some very, very radical things, and what worries me is that once people start saying these things, other people respond with radical things. I really feel like the people with the most power are pushing us toward a place where something awful is absolutely inevitable. I don't understand how we get out of this before something terrible happens, and probably a lot of people are to blame for that.
"But Tucker Carlson says very 'radical' things!" I see your Tucker Carlson and raise you a Don Lemon . Notice how Tucker made his point without insulting the half of the country who generally disagrees with him. He even blamed Trump for his role in the Capitol riot, an opinion that may not be held by people who generally agree with him. As Jason Whitlock said, you may not agree with Carlson. But just listen to him and think about what he's saying.
