Rioters Attack Female Driver. She Drives Through Them, then Turns Back to Hit Them Again

Rioters Attack Female Driver. She Drives Through Them, then Turns Back to Hit Them Again
Courtney Kirchoff - May 29, 2020 at 03:28PM

In downtown Denver, Colorado, protesters were rioting in the streets over the George Floyd killing. That happened in Minneapolis. We'll discuss that one later. One such rioter who wasn't so much protesting as he was being a neanderthal, jumped on a woman's car in a manner that wasn't chivalrous. How naughty of him. She hit the gas to get away. Then decided that wasn't enough. Behold:

Repeat after me: violence isn't the answer. Violence isn't the answer. Violence isn't the answer.

Did you see that, Twitter and Facebook? I'm saying violence isn't the answer. Violence is wrong. We shouldn't hit people with our cars.

But nor should we hit cars with people.

Let's just say, if I knew this lady driving this car, I may or may not might buy her a glass of Chardonnay. She looks like maybe the type. I'm a Pinot Grigio gal myself, but to each her own.

Violence isn't the answer.

In the words of someone else I work with who watched the same video you did "that was a little love bump. A 'hey, don't do that again'" reminder. Roads are for cars. Roads are not for peaceful protesters jumping on ladies' SUVs like a re-enactment of Rise of Planet of the Apes.

Also, Lady Speedracer here was a lone female fighting off what could be seen as the patriarchy. Where are my fellow ladies uniting against fighting the masculine powers at be?

Violence isn't the answer.

Never mind the George Floyd murder "incident" happened in Minneapolis, and the monkey man who wasn't Cesar but the mean-looking one hopped on her car in Denver. If there's a reason to run to the streets to break things, let it be so, right? So then if it's okay for these jerks to run about town causing mayhem, then under the same rules, what's so wrong with my sister from another mister delivering a little love tap to the street patriarchy?

I'm just asking questions. I'm not taking sides, per se.

Violence isn't the answer.

Pedestrians: stay out of the streets. Drivers: hitting people is wrong. But it's a little murky if the people hit you first. Is all I'm saying.

BREAKING: Cop Who Knelt on George Floyd's Neck Arrested

BREAKING: Cop Who Knelt on George Floyd's Neck Arrested
Courtney Kirchoff - May 29, 2020 at 01:23PM

Days after civilian video captured police officer Derek Chauvin slowly killing George Floyd by putting his knee on Floyd's neck (even though Floyd wasn't resisting, was already handcuffed and on the ground) with onlookers screaming for him to stop, Minneapolis police FINALLY took Chauvin into custody on Friday. My commentary to follow, but first details from The AP:

Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington said state investigators arrested Derek Chauvin.

The arrest comes after three days of protests, which escalated in violence as demonstrators torched a police precinct that had been abandoned by officers.

This is one of those cases where the more you learn about it, the worse it seems to get. There is actual video. I watched it, and all I could feel was rage. I know some have given Derek Chauvin the benefit of the doubt, saying "he was poorly trained" but (and this is my opinion) the look on his face was one of a monster. It appeared to me Chauvin knew he had his knee on the man's neck and either didn't care that Floyd couldn't breathe, or knew he couldn't breathe and continued anyway. In short: homicide likely, manslaughter at the very least.

Is it possible Chauvin was poorly trained? Sure. Is it also possible he's a murdering thug? Hell. Yes.

But what I want to know is this:

  • There's video evidence of Chauvin suffocating George Floyd. Why wasn't he arrested immediately? Instead he was fired and arrested days later. Do you think any of US would be granted those three days of grace?
  • When are the other THREE officers who allowed this to happen, or actively participated in the homicide (my opinion) going to be put in handcuffs and sent to jail?

Minneapolis PD has some answers to give. Some heads need to roll. If I'm George Floyd's family, I'm suing everyone I possibly can. I'm taking notes on what's being done, or what ISN'T being done, in a timely fashion, and I'm going to rename the entire city.

All that said, crime-happy assholes trashing businesses and setting buildings on fire isn't an appropriate response to four criminal dick cops murdering a man. Looting a Target for that big screen you always wanted isn't the answer, it's just an excuse to be a criminal dick. Destroying businesses that had ZERO to do with George Floyd, Derek Chauvin, or the other three asshole cops, isn't an appropriate response. Looting and rioting is just an excuse to loot and riot. Everyone participating in the looting and rioting needs the book thrown at them.

What happened to George Floyd wasn't a tragedy, it was evil. What's happening to Minneapolis in the riots isn't a tragedy. It's evil.

MSNBC Claims #MinnesotaRiot is Mostly Peaceful While Standing In Front of a Burning Building

George Floyd was murdered. The cops responsible need to be held responsible. My virtue has been signaled (see RIOTERS BURNED DOWN A MINNEAPOLIS POLICE STATION, POLICE FLEE and ARMED PATRIOTS WANT JUSTICE FOR GEORGE FLOYD, DON'T WANT LOOTING. HERE'S WHAT THEY'RE DOING ABOUT IT...). Okay? Okay. Now let's laugh at this idiot from MSNBC, who did his best Chip Diller impersonation, claiming that all is well while his surroundings say otherwise.

There may be more context to this 12-second clip. But to be honest, it's MSNBC and I don't care. The visual says it all, because journos have been tripping over themselves explaining why they aren't calling this riot a riot and how it's just a protest. Before showing us nothing but IMAGES OF A F*CKING RIOT!!! Seriously, how stupid does cable news think we are? If the riot is only a small part of the protests, show us images of that. Show was the images of white people and black people, men and women, Vikings fans and Packers fans, all holding hands and singing the Youngbloods' "Get Together." Or at least a Prince song, since you're in Minneapolis.

If the riot is a mostly peaceful protest, then the visual of a mostly peaceful protest should be easy to find. Hell, if Baldy McGlasses from MSNBC thinks that he's currently in a peaceful protest, walk up to some of the peaceful protesters behind you. Ask them to "say his name." See how many know what it is.

BREAKING: Monkeys Attack Lab Assistant, Escape with COVID-19 Samples ... Wait, What?!
Brodigan - May 29, 2020 at 09:23AM

The wheels have completely come off the planet. People are losing their minds (see THIS WOMAN FORGOT HER MASK, SO SHE DROPPED HER PANTS AND PUT HER PANTIES ON HER HEAD and SCREW YOU, SOCIAL DISTANCING: GIRL KISSED — BY A STRANGER — DURING NEWS INTERVIEW). The pandemic is bad. Or not. It depends on the day and who just released new info that contradicts the previous info. I'd like to think if there's one thing everyone can agree on, monkeys attacking lab assistants and stealing virus samples is at the very least concerning.

This takes place in Delhi, India, where apparently the monkeys have been feeling themselves. I hope one of you is going to fact-check me and call me out that I got tricked by cleverly written satire. Because, just, wow. The Tim Burton remake of Planet of the Apes was bad enough.

The bizarre incident saw the troop of primates launch their assault near Meerut Medical College in Delhi, India.

According to local media, the animals then snatched COVID-19 test samples from three patients and fled. One of the monkeys was later spotted in a tree chewing one of the sample collection kits, the Times of India reported - adding that test samples from the patients had to be taken again.

While they have proved an increasing problem in urban areas of the country in recent years, lockdown measures in the last two months have emboldened the monkeys.

According to the paper, the monkeys haven't been social distancing, but have been gathering in areas of Delhi which are typically full of people. Quick, someone get those primates some masks.

This just got real, fam.

Andrew Cuomo Refuses Phase 2 Reopening Until 'International Experts' Approve

Andrew Cuomo Refuses Phase 2 Reopening Until 'International Experts' Approve
Brodigan - May 29, 2020 at 08:29AM

If you rounded up all the dicks north of Poughkeepsie and put them in a bag, it still wouldn't be big enough for Andrew Cuomo to choke on. Because the governor has decided he hasn't caused enough difficulty in the state of New York (see ANDREW CUOMO SAYS PEOPLE WILL DIE NO MATTER WHAT IS DONE. SO WE SHUT DOWN BECAUSE...? and LADIES, YOU CAN NOW WEAR ANDREW CUOMO AND GAVIN NEWSOM ON YOUR PANTIES). Which, for those of you unfamiliar, includes all the land outside New York City, from which the New York City virus spread.

Regions of the state are ready to reopen in Phase 2 of the reopening plan. They hit all the benchmarks Cuomo put in place. However, Cuomo isn't giving permission for them to reopen until an INTERNATIONAL PANEL OF EXPERTS reviews the data and gives THEIR thumbs-up.

A group of "international experts" will review data on the first phase of New York's reopening plan and will have to sign off before phase two starts, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said today.

Cuomo gave no details on when the review will occur or how long it will take. He said only that experts will get data on phase one from the state once it ends and then analyze it. If they approve, eligible regions of the state will move to phase two, Cuomo said.

No word on if it's the same international panel of experts whose expertness got all the COVID-19 data wrong and put us in this mess in the first place. Also, no word on why exactly these international experts have authority as to whether or not small business in the Mohawk Valley can get their lives back. What is clear is that Chris's brother is the poster child for why you don't give politicians this much unchecked power. Ever.

Next time there's an election, and both the Democrat Party and the NYC media want to make it about social issues and Trump tweets, voters, remember these last few months.

Rioters Burned Down a Minneapolis Police Station, Police Flee

Rioters Burned Down a Minneapolis Police Station, Police Flee
Brodigan - May 29, 2020 at 08:23AM

George Floyd was murdered. The police who murdered him should be held accountable. Most people are in agreement with that. Now that I have signaled my virtue there, I failed to see how burning down a police station helps anything. Kudos to Julio Rosas from Townhall, who is doing an amazing job covering the riots on the ground.

Here's what I would like to see from reporters who are there on the ground, which, to be clear, is not a knock on them, especially when they're putting themselves in harm's way so that we see what's happening. You always hear "say their name." It's a popular catchphrase from leftists, so that we know the names of the people who were victims. It's supposedly the best way to signal the virtue of your wokeness.

I'd like to see a reporter go up to these people rioting and ask them to "say his name." See how many of them know that it's George Floyd. Because if I had to guess, a lot of these guys are just rioting to riot, destroying to destroy, and don't know or don't care who George Floyd was.

JUSTICE! Connecticut's Transgender Competing with Girls Policy Gets Snipped!

JUSTICE! Connecticut's Transgender Competing with Girls Policy Gets Snipped!
Courtney Kirchoff - May 28, 2020 at 06:54PM

Meanwhile in Connecticut, he-ladies just got told they can't cheat by embodying gross stereotypes and trouncing all over girls' rights. That's because finally a government entity did a good thing. The U.S. Education Department's Office for Civil Rights has finally ruled that forcing girls to compete with ugly dudes is a violation of Title IX. Let's hear it for the girls!

The office said in a 45-page letter that it may seek to withhold federal funding over the policy, which allows transgender athletes to participate as the gender with which they identify. It said the policy is a violation of Title IX, the federal civil rights law that guarantees equal education opportunities for women, including in athletics.

Meaning dudes who can't compete with guys can't rake up the trophies and medals by taking them from girls. If you can't hack it with the boys, don't pretend to hack it off and go prance about with the girls.

Girls' athletics are for girls to compete athletically. More than a few guys like to point and laugh while mocking girls who play sports. But those girls who play sports aren't playing for men. They're playing to play. They're competing to compete. Anyone who has entered a competition knows the highs and lows that come with competition and how invigorating and challenging it can be. Girls have every right to grow, become better, learn from their failures, and push harder as guys do. But they should be allowed to compete against their own, so they can chase the possibility of victory.

If a woman has to compete against a man, she knows she will lose. And that's. Not. Fair.

The Office for Civil Rights ruling names the CIAC and school districts the transgender runners and those filing the complaint competed — Glastonbury, Bloomfield, Hartford, Cromwell, Canton, and Danbury.

The office said it will "either initiate administrative proceedings to suspend, terminate, or refuse to grant or continue and defer financial assistance" to the CIAC and those districts or refer the cases to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Well that just makes me happy.

If you're a confused dude who thinks he's a dame, I'm sorry, but that doesn't mean you get to take something you don't deserve just because you feel a certain way. If you do feel you're owed something just because you're a man who feels like I lady, then maybe "male privilege" is real after all.

Here's hoping the lady athletes who brought the suit will succeed in having the he-ladies records erased from girls' sports. After all, as the adage goes "cheaters never prosper." Or at least they shouldn't.

The cops who murdered George Floyd need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Full stop. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a fair trial or the ability to defend themselves. Wait for facts to come out and all that. But I'm comfortable enough, going by the footage, to say what I said, as well as how disgusted I am. Also disgusting are the riots and the looting (see also BALTIMORE MAYOR: "WE ALSO GAVE THOSE WHO WISHED TO DESTROY SPACE TO DO THAT AS WELL." and THE TOP 5 "LIBERAL" PROTESTS THAT TURNED VIOLENT). Burning down a Target and stealing televisions IS NOT a protest to bring justice to the Floyd family and speak out against police brutality. Both ideas are able exist in the same brain.

This is nowhere better explained than by these two self-professed rednecks. SPOILER: They were out to protest FOR justice for George Floyd. But there's more.

Good rule of thumb when you're a doctor or scientist who doesn't have all the data available: don't use definitive words like "inevitable" if you're not actually sure something will be inevitable. If you do use unambiguous terms and speak with so much authority, then change your stance a month or so later, be prepared for someone to accuse you of trying to save your reputation after causing considerable damage.

House Minority Leader McCarthy Exposes Democrats' Potential Dangerous Plans with New Voting Rule

House Minority Leader McCarthy Exposes Democrats' Potential Dangerous Plans with New Voting Rule
Courtney Kirchoff - May 28, 2020 at 09:55AM

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy lit up the chamber on Wednesday, peeved over a new House rule that allows voting by proxy, rather than voting your darn self. This is apparently unconstitutional (according to McCarthy) and could lead to a rather slippery slope. His rant came during debates over FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act).

Watch:

Listening to McCarthy here, dude's got a point. We elected our representatives to represent us. We don't elect our representatives so they can hand off their voting ability to... anyone else? Just because reasons?

If you can't make the vote, then you can't make the vote. Then the people who voted for you should know you couldn't make it to the job you were elected to perform.

From Politico:

The House is set to be in session Wednesday for the first time in 10 days. Voting will take place under a controversial new House rule that allows proxy voting on the floor. McCarthy and other GOP lawmakers are already suing over that.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has asked Democratic leaders to hold off on putting a bill on the floor to renew a trio of expired surveillance tools, according to lawmakers and aides, raising new doubts about whether Congress can get the measure over the finish line this week.

Congress's votes affect every American life. So yeah, if you're elected to represent Americans, get your ass onto the House floor, raise the concerns and represent your constituents, abide by the constitutional rules, and don't make up new rules which likely have more nefarious plans than "but I'm afraid of the 'rona."

Zuckerberg Criticizes Twitter for Fact-Checking Donald Trump

Zuckerberg Criticizes Twitter for Fact-Checking Donald Trump
Brodigan - May 28, 2020 at 08:55AM

Twitter is a horrible place, run by horrible people (see TWITTER CEO JACK DORSEY STOPS PRETENDING, SAYS "WE CAN'T AFFORD TO BE NEUTRAL ANYMORE" and TIM POOL SCHOOLS TWITTER EXECUTIVES ON THEIR LEFTIST BIAS). It's the least used platform, yet has the most influence because it's popular with the three groups most desperate for instant gratification: politicians, celebrities, and the media. And while this may not be a popular opinion here, I think it's even worth Trump having his Twitter account taken away, just because the ensuing response would destroy Twitter. Trump can then communicate with constituents the old-school way: by cutting in while we're trying to watch television. Twitter sucks, is what I'm saying. Also, you can find me at @Brodigan.

Twitter so screwed the pooch with its "fact" "check" of Trump on mail-in voter fraud, it caused sentient being The Zuck-2000 to be activated and criticize Twitter.

In all seriousness, the whole concept of "fact" "checking" in the olden days used to just be called journalism. So when a "journalist" uses an "independent" "fact" "checker" as a source, don't listen to that guy. What we call fact-checking is mostly nitpicking over rhetoric, complaining about tone, and taking something that while true didn't include as much context as this "independent" "fact" "checker" would have preferred. As far as who I trust to be an arbiter of truth, tech nerds are literally the bottom of the list.

Plus what Trump said about mail-in ballot fraud wasn't wrong.

Dr. Fauci: Masks Aren't 100% Effective, but Are SymbolicAF!
Brodigan - May 28, 2020 at 08:20AM

I don't have a side in the the great mask wars. My mom checks off a few at-risk boxes, so I wear one when I leave the house to do errands. That's the extent of how much I think about it, other than a few eyerolls over how some of you take it to Defcon Eleventy on social media (see THIS WOMAN FORGOT HER MASK, SO SHE DROPPED HER PANTS AND PUT HER PANTIES ON HER HEAD and MSNBC REPORTER COMPLAINS NO ONE IS WEARING MASKS. BYSTANDER SAYS THE CAMERA CREW ISN'T WEARING MASKS EITHER!). You do you, I'ma do me. That sort of deal.

But do you want to know what doesn't help matters? When undisputed expert in all the things Dr. Anthony Fauci M.D. says crap like this on news-entertainment channels like CNN.

"I want to protect myself and protect others, and also because I want to make it be a symbol for people to see that that's the kind of thing you should be doing," Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert and a member of the White House's coronavirus task force, told CNN's Jim Sciutto on "Newsroom."

Fauci said he believes that while wearing a mask is not "100% effective," it is a valuable safeguard and shows "respect for another person."

Everyone has to wear a mask — even though they aren't 100% effective — because it symbolizes the essence of who we are as members of society.

To be clear, undisputed expert in all the things Dr. Anthony Fauci M.D. is almost literally saying that you should wear a mask just to virtue-signal over it. I'm honestly at a loss over what to say here, because my initial response to this is to throw my mask in his face and scream "it's MAGA up in the piece sucka" just to be spiteful.

We're supposed to be able to trust the "experts." But that requires a coherent set of guidelines that doesn't contradict the coherent set of guidelines that were give the week before that, it turns out, weren't coherent in the first place, just like these new guidelines. At no point have we had that.

But, Trump presented COVID-19 to the nation in such a way that he sent Americans into an unfortunate fear-spiral. First, Dr. Fauci influenced Trump to convince the public that they should fear the invisible enemy, better known as WuFlu. Naturally, much of the people freaked out and demanded to be saved by the all-knowing government. Can you imagine a world in which the government is capable of fixing a problem rather than making it worse? I can't.Now the public's state of fear is reaching its inevitable conclusion. Because the government will always seize an opportunity to expand its power, times marked by the fear of the unknown will always end with more government. As the country emerges from its COVID-19 quarantine fog, a reality that the threat of government surpassed that of COVID must be faced.Steven went off this morning with an epic rant highlighting the tyranny of government in the United States.
