Nothing but respect to Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She made it onto my spirit animal totem with ease. But quickly climbing the pole, new Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany. Not only did she use the term "apoplectic," but she used it to slam the media being hyperactive banshees over hydroxychloroquine and its use in treating COVID-19. Which Trump is apparently taking. A reporter got breathless (maybe because of her mask) in trying to knock Trump. Kayleigh cracked her knuckles and slapped that reporter all the way to Guam.
I appreciate the dig into Chris Cuomo who took a less safe version of it (that is his right) while brandishing Andrew Cuomo praising the drug. I imagine the reporter who challenged Kayleigh might be feeling a little less smart and a lot more humbled. Maybe. The stones on these reporters is something science should study once it's done studying the dumb surrounding COVID-19.
Word to the wise to the White House Press Corps: Kayleigh looks to be rather enjoying her new gig. She also seems quite good at it. If you're going to attack such a queen, do it with a little more skill than just Orange Man Bad.
