Dan Crenshaw on COVID: It's Not Courageous Telling People to Be Afraid
Brodigan - May 15, 2020 at 08:24AM
And the three men I admire most,
Mike Rowe , Dave Portnoy and Dan Crenshaw,
Say open back up before we're toast,
And before the economy dies...

I'll let you get right to this video. Because no one on the right frames arguments better than Rep. Dan Crenshaw. As states start to open back up and leftists from the states that aren't go on the attack with disingenuous arguments, it helps to be able to effectively shut them down. Crenshaw covers a lot of ground here.
VIDEOTexas Representative Crenshaw: It's Not Courageous to Tell People to Stay Locked Up and Be Afraid youtu.be
Let me put it this way. When history looks back on this, it will not be seen as courageous to send people home and tell them to stay locked up and be afraid. It will be courageous to tell them the truth. And give them the tools to act personally responsible and go out and face the risk. We know a lot more about the virus than we used to. Our hospital capacity has not been inundated like we felt it would. We can't keep moving the goalposts on these lockdowns.
You want to make time for the whole interview. Especially when he smacks down the "how much death is okay with you" talking point.
The choice thing is the big one. If you want to stay home until your flying spaghetti scientist tells you it's safe to go outside, you have that choice. But you don't to tell me that if I want to go out and enjoy my life, while taking safety precautious with masks and singing the chorus to Carry On Wayward Son while I wash my hands, I'm not allowed. You sure as hell don't get to tell people looking to support their family by going back to work they shouldn't be allowed to do so.
We did what was asked of us. We succeeded in what we were told the goal was. Take your moving goal posts, turn them sideways, and shove them up your noses.
