Author of Democrat Court-Packing Bill Declares Expanding SCOTUS 'Infrastructure'

Infrastructure is the new raaaaaaacism. It's the new word leftists have stripped all definitions from and use to hide their true agenda. After all, who can argue with "infrastructure"? We all use bridges and roads! That's why Democrats now claim anything they want is "infrastructure." We're a news cycle away from hearing giving puberty blockers to toddlers is "infrastructure." So it's no surprise to see this tweet from Rep. Mondaire Jones, a co-author of the Democrat scheme to pack the Supreme Court, claim that is infrastructure too.

Supreme Court expansion is infrastructure.

The Judiciary Act of 2021 would expand the Supreme Court from nine justices to thirteen. Which would allow Joe Biden an opportunity to appoint four justices. Which would give leftists a 7-6 advantage on the Supreme Court. Ta-da, infrastructure!

You'd think Democrats would at least pretend to hide their true intentions. Jones issued a statement on his bill:

Our democracy is hanging by a thread. And the far-right majority on the U.S. Supreme Court is cutting it. The American people have had enough. To restore power to the people, we must expand the Supreme Court.

Bridges. Roads. Packing the court with leftists who will treat Constitution like the sock they collect their soggiest socialist dreams in. It's all infrastructure.

I feel the same way about this as I did the "nuclear option" to eliminate the filibuster on judicial nominees back in the day. I opposed it because once you go through with these options, it can cause irreparable harm. Things change forever. Then Harry Reid and the Democrats took power and did it anyway. So then I supported Cocaine Mitch eliminating the filibuster for Supreme Court nominations when our party took over. If this is the way leftists want to play assuming they'll never lose power, let's play.

If Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court adding four new justices, so be it. When it's President DeSantis in a few years, I'll support him adding thirty-seven of them.
