We're coming up on the third anniversary of the "March for Our Lives," the event that launched David Hogg into superstardom. If the other co-founders get together for a potluck to commemorate the occasion, Cameron Kasky is bringing the beef! Kasky is not impressed with the former child star's attempt to break into the pillow market with his new "Good Pillow."
Some of these are brutal.
I saw PIllow Grift open for Me First and the Gimme Gimmes in 1998.
Hogg's new business partner William LeGate got involved in a now-deleted tweet, saying "David isn't defined by the tragedy" and Cam was "literally just being a bully & everything you claim to hate." In response.
Not sure if Kasky has LeGate confused with this guy. Hey, Hogg is learning as he goes along!
This one is my favorite.
That's right! There is literally no other pillow to compete with the MyPillow. Which, if we're being honest with ourselves, isn't really a good pillow. I swear that pun was unintentional.
Hogg has always been fun to clown on because he makes it so easy. But Cameron in recent years has come across as someone intellectually honest. I have no doubt we disagree on a lot, with gun rights being at the top of the list. He'll at least sit down with people who disagree with him. Hogg stans may be enamored by his cult of personality and are lashing out at Kasky the same way Swifties lash out at anyone slightly critical of a Taylor Swift single. But Kasky isn't wrong here.
