Larry Hogan is the Republican (in theory) governor of Maryland. I tend to shy away from calling people "RINOs." For all I know, he was the most conservative option who could win statewide. But the media and his consultants have convinced Hogan to run for president and that his milquetoast brand of politics is what this country needs. As long as he's going to be the useful idiot mainstream media calls on to attack conservatives, it's either call him a "RINO" or call him "f*ckstick." Here he is attacking Ron DeSantis over the Parental Rights in Education bill.
The same bill Hogan says he never read.
"I didn’t actually see the details of the legislation, but the whole thing seems like just a crazy fight. [...] I think the bill was kind of absurd and not something that would happen in our state."
Hogan not knowing the details of the bill is complete horseplop. It's seven pages. The details of the bill have been all over the internet. One would assume Hogan had people working for him who know how a) the internet works, and b) can read. It's a really simple conversation to have:
AIDE: Ok now, Governor, if they ask about something called the "Don't Say Gay" bill, remember the bill doesn't say gay and it just says no pushing sex and gender indoctrination to kids under the age of ten.
HOGAN: I think I can remember that. Oh, and who is this Lia Thomas person?
AIDE: Never heard of her.
At least when activists and Disney spread lies about the bill (the real reason DeSantis is pushing back against the company), they're doing it for offensive reasons. Hogan is lying about not knowing the details of the bill because he's a pussy who doesn't want to answer hard questions. Not when "be the Republican we can count on to attack other Republicans" is the only reason they let him on television.
He's your boy, Maryland. Do something.
